MESSAGE:
I'm a writer at Valley News, a daily paper in Lebanon, N.H. I'm working on a story about a former publisher at this paper, Bin Lewis, who was a part of the Noyes family. I'm trying to find someone, or several someones if possible, who might have worked with him at the Washington Star. I can be reached via email <ahanson@vnews.com>; or at 603-727-3219. Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Alex Hanson

Sorry to hog the page. But two things: First: Remember Star alums lunch on Tuesday, noon at Mr. Henry's. Second, old Star pals rallied 'round for new book, Making Hay. Great reviews on Amazon by Don Smith and Chris Hanson; and one-word blurbs - seen here - from the Frank boys, Jeff and Allan. Here's the back cover.

This advertisement appeared in the August 3, 1912 Evening Star. $8,900 in 1912 is worth about $206,000 today. 1912 Belmont Road, NW last sold in 2000 for $625,000 and is assessed by the DC Government in 2012 for $1,032,400.
Housing in DC overpriced? Discuss.
